Sage Evans, who operates Bowral Acupuncture, is an experienced practitioner of acupuncture, remedial massage and herbal medicine.
Initially trained as a remedial massage practitioner in 1994, Sage now integrates his extensive experience of therapeutic massage with acupuncture for musculoskeletal pain relief.
Sage is also a fully qualified herbalist - proficient in both Chinese and Western herbal medicine, which serves as an ancillary to his acupuncture.
Together with his wife, Sara-Jane Cleland, a skilled naturopath, he offers a wide rage of practitioner only supplements, prepared pills and powders and an extensive range of liquid herbal tinctures.
As such, Sage provides unapparelled expertise and depth to his acupuncture treatments, massage and herbal medicine.

Sage's Qualifications
Sage's Traditional Chinese Medicine began in 1994 where he completed a Diploma of Remedial Massage, taught by master acupuncturist and herbalist Richard Gutwein from Byron Bay. With this background, Sage skillfully integrates traditional methods with modern techniques to deliver outstanding treatments.
Sage then completed the highly regarded four year undergraduate Advanced Diploma of Traditional Chinese Medicine in acupuncture & herbal medicine from the Sydney Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Sydney (SITCM). This undergraduate study included an extended three month clinical internship at both Nanning and Chengdu university hospitals in China.
