For more than 25 years I have sought to bring to the table a syntheses of bodywork that integrates massage and acupuncture for the treatment of injuries, musculoskeletal pain and the promotion of our general health and wellbeing. Now, after 15 years in practice, this realisation is finally at hand with Bowral Acupuncture. Clinical experience has shown that under a skilled physician, massage - as an adjunct to acupuncture - is the best treatment for pain. In combination with herbal medicine, you have arguably the best natural therapy money can buy. This is why, at Bowral Acupuncture, these three therapies comprise my treatment approach. As a remedial massage practitioner with 30yrs experience, the massage I employ in my practice is tailored towards pain relief and the enhancement of my acupuncture. Therefore, the massage I bring to the table is not a generalised treatment - but rather a specific set of moves and techniques - directed toward a desired healing outcome. By doing this, the efficacy of acupuncture is greatly enhanced, while reducing injury time and the number of treatment sessions. This treatment is ideally suited where muscular tension is involved. Specific conditions where this treatment may help are: neck and shoulder tension, headaches and migraines, back pain, RSI, sciatica, rotator cuff pain and the repair of unhealed old injuries. If you would like to have herbal medicine as an adjunct to this treatment, there is no need to pay the consultation for herbal medicine. This means that you only have to pay for the herbal prescription. Payments can be made with cash or online banking - as we no longer provide EFTPOS. Rebates are available for members of eligible private health funds via a invoice/receipt.
