Herbal medicine and acupuncture comprise the two pillars of Traditional Chinese medicine. Bowral Acupuncture offers both. As qualified herbalists, it is our responsibility to honor this traditional medicine by dispensary the best quality single herb liquid extracts and formulated tablets and powders. By offering the purist liquid extracts money can buy, we have confidence in the healing power of nature, while preserving this great tradition. Herbal medicine has many properties. However, its anti-inflammatory properties are the best: think acute respiratory tract infections and the support of your immune system. Herbals also possess fortifying properties (tonics) which may assist with symptoms of tiredness and fatigue. Prescribing of herbals is tailored to your unique individual condition based on your presenting signs and symptoms and case history. Identifying your constitutional remedy is also a must. This service is for the consultation only. The cost of the herbals and supplements is additional. Herbal medicine extracts are approximately $45 for a 14 day period. Supplements vary in price. Follow-up consultations is priced at $45, excluding the cost of herbals/supplements. Payments can be made with cash or online banking. Please note we no longer provide EFTPOS. Rebates are available for members of eligible private health funds, via an invoice/receipt.
